The Crazies & The Indie Review Announcement

Happy Tuesday to all who dwell in the internets.

We watched a little movie called The Crazies this weekend. I thought it was going to be about brain munchers (zombies), but it wasn’t. The Crazies was instead a movie with a premise very similar to 28 Days Later.

A community is accidentally exposed to a biological weapon. People get sick and ugly and well, crazy. The good guys in the movie are trying to escape both military types who try to contain the disease by killing everyone and victims of the disease.

The movie stars Timothy Olyphant of Hit Man fame. There is something about him that is both attractive and yet not attractive. I’m still trying to figure out why I feel that way.

Soooo, the movie was decent. It had a few intense scenes. The acting was fine. The only issue I had with this movie was a lack of originality. It didn’t bring anything new to the table. We’ve all seen this stuff before.

Overall, The Crazies was worth watching. It gets a B.

Next up, we have the announcement for my first ever Indie Review.

This month’s selection is a book called Bublos, and it’s written by Billy Young of Scotland! I should post the review either this coming Friday or at the latest Monday. The book is available at in print and ebook form.

If so how do you prevent it, any plugin or anything you can recommend?

Sorry for the delayed reply! I think WordPress blocks them automatically. I do not have any magic tricks in this instance. 🙂
